Position Overview
GoldPhield is looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong focus on identifying and driving opportunities in battery cells for electric vehicles (EV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a proven ability to navigate complex markets, establish strategic partnerships, and drive growth in the renewable energy and mobility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategically identify and develop opportunities to expand the company’s footprint in the Indian market, focusing on EV and BESS solutions.
Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and growth areas within the energy storage and electric mobility sectors.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as HQ teams, OEMs, distributors, JV partners, and other industry players.
Work closely with technical teams to align product offerings with market needs and regulatory standards.
Lead the development of tailored proposals and negotiations to secure contracts and establish lasting partnerships.
Monitor performance metrics, provide market intelligence, and deliver actionable recommendations to guide strategic decisions.
Represent the company at industry gatherings, enhancing its visibility and building professional networks.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; knowledge of renewable energy, BESS, or EV markets is a plus.
7-10 years of B2B business development or sales experience, preferably in the energy or technology sectors.
Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and manage complex sales cycles.
Results-oriented, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel frequently within the region to meet business needs.
